CONCRETE SHIELD

Colour-Enhancing Stain Protector for Concrete

FILA CONCRETE SHIELD is a water-based protector that enhances the colour of indoor and outdoor concrete surfaces and protects them against stains and water. On concrete, stamped concrete, interlocking paving blocks and cement tiles with marble aggregate, it prevents dust formation and dirt absorption, making cleaning easier. It forms a barrier that makes it easier to clean off oils and grease before they penetrate the surface; outdoors, it increases the resistance of the surface to weathering.

It consolidates industrial floors in warehouses, exhibition areas and garages and protects them against dusting. It contains no hydrocarbon-based solvents, is UV-resistant (ASTM G154) and provides protection that can be removed when necessary. As it is not affected by residual moisture in the surface, it significantly shortens application time on site. On residential floors, the treatment can be completed with a finishing wax.

4-Step Application

Application

  1. Preparation

Shake before use. The product is ready to use; do not dilute. Make sure the surface is clean and dry.

  2. Application

Apply CONCRETE SHIELD evenly with a flat brush, a plush applicator or a roller. On absorbent surfaces, apply a second coat using the same method once the first coat has dried (4 hours).

  3. Indoor Finishing Coat

In residential interiors, 4 hours after application, apply one coat of finishing wax according to the desired look: MATT for a natural look, LONGLIFE for a glossy look (in markets where it is available).

  4. Maintenance and Renewal

For daily maintenance, use CLEANER PRO diluted 1:200. Outdoors, renew the treatment every year to maintain the colour-enhancing effect. Clean the equipment with water after use.

Safe Use

Points to Consider

To use the product safely and at maximum efficiency, please read the following points carefully before application.

  • In the event of incorrect application or when the surface protection needs to be completely renewed, strip CONCRETE SHIELD with PS87 PRO.
  • On indoor residential floors (micro-concrete, quartz-enriched concrete, etc.), check compatibility with the surface by carrying out a test on a small, inconspicuous area before application.
  • CONCRETE SHIELD may not adhere sufficiently to smooth or polished concrete surfaces; a test is recommended before applying to the entire surface.
  • Do not apply outdoors if rain is expected. Application is not recommended on exterior surfaces, in damp environments or in areas where water tends to collect (showers, saunas, Turkish baths, etc.).
  • On jointless installations, the protection applies only to the top surface of the tile.
  • Due to the variety of materials, carry out a test on a small area before application to check for possible colour changes.
  • Do not use alkaline degreasing cleaners for daily and intensive cleaning and maintenance; use only the neutral cleaner CLEANER PRO.
  • Sensitive to frost; keep out of the reach of children and do not release into the environment after use.
  • Storage: 5-30 °C; surface during application: 10-30 °C.
