Pre-Grouting Protector

FILA PRW200 is a pre-grouting protector that provides water-based, water-repellent protection against soiling that occurs during installation. It makes grouting and subsequent cleaning easier without altering the appearance of the material. While protecting against soiling from grout, it does not affect the adhesion of the grout to the material.

By reducing drying time, it speeds up post-installation protective treatments. As it is a permanent protector that does not need to be removed during cleaning, an additional protective treatment can be carried out after application. It is ideal for absorbent materials such as terracotta, unglazed clinker tiles, unpolished natural stone, artificial stone and agglomerates. Easy to apply and ready to use, PRW200 is classified A+ under the French VOC regulation.

4-Step Application

Application

Preparation

Shake before use. The product is ready to use; do not dilute. Remove dust from the surface to be treated.
Apply a Single Coat

Apply a single, even coat of PRW200 with a flat brush, a plush applicator or another suitable applicator without allowing it to pool, taking care to apply it to the edges of the laid material as well.
Grouting

Grouting can be carried out the day after application. Once the grout has fully hardened, wash the surface with the cleaner best suited to the type of material.
Complete the Protection

Assess which protective treatment to carry out to complete the protection system. Clean the equipment with water after use; for daily maintenance, use CLEANER PRO diluted 1:200.

Points to Consider

To use the product safely and at maximum efficiency, please read the following points carefully before application.

Due to the variety of materials, carry out a test on a small area before application to check for possible colour changes.
Do not apply outdoors if rain is expected.
Apply the product without allowing it to pool.
Application with airless systems or other spraying equipment is for professional use only; use the appropriate personal protective equipment specified in the Safety Data Sheet.
Keep out of the reach of children; do not release into the environment after use.
Storage: 5-30 °C; surface during application: 10-30 °C.
