Eco-Friendly Superior Water- and Oil-Repellent Protection

FILA MP90 ECO XTREME is a water- and oil-repellent protector that preserves the natural look, made with the innovative ULTIMATE SHIELD TECHNOLOGY developed in the FILA research laboratories. It provides eco-friendly stain protection for porcelain tiles, natural stone, marble and granite with polished, brushed and honed (matt-finished) surfaces, reducing the absorbency of the material without altering its natural appearance.

As it is water-based, it tolerates residual moisture; it can be applied 24-48 hours after the first wash, even if there is residual moisture in the surface, speeding up the protection process. It contains no hydrocarbon-based solvents, does not form a film and does not yellow. By preventing graffiti paint from adhering to the surface, it allows graffiti to be removed easily. It is also suitable for grout, terrazzo, resin-based marble agglomerates, coloured cement tiles and artificial stone. It is ideal for protecting tables and kitchen and bathroom countertops.

4-Step Application

Application

Preparation

Shake before use. The product is ready to use; do not dilute. Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
Matt Surfaces

On natural stone, terracotta, agglomerate and concrete tiles, apply the product with a brush or a plush applicator in a continuous, even layer, also wetting the joints. Before it dries, remove the excess by dabbing with a clean cloth. On highly absorbent materials, apply two coats, waiting 20 minutes between coats.
Polished Surfaces

On polished porcelain tiles, natural stone and agglomerates with a polished surface, completely wet the material and the joints. Before the product dries (approximately 10-15 minutes), rub with a microfibre cloth moistened with the product and dry with a clean cloth.
Drying and Finishing Coat

The surface can be walked on after 2 hours; water- and oil-repellent protection becomes effective after 24 hours. Indoors, a MATT, SATIN, CLASSIC or LONGLIFE finishing wax can be applied to porous materials after 4 hours. For daily maintenance, use CLEANER PRO diluted 1:200.

Safe Use

Points to Consider

To use the product safely and at maximum efficiency, please read the following points carefully before application.

Due to the variety of materials, carry out a test on a small area before application to check for possible colour changes.
Do not apply outdoors if rain is expected.
Ventilate the room thoroughly during application and while the product is drying.
It does not provide protection against the corrosive action of acids.
Before application, outdoor floors must have been properly installed and must meet all relevant requirements, including adequate slope, correctly made expansion joints, complete insulation from the underlying substrate and verified suitability for sub-zero temperatures.
Keep out of the reach of children; do not release into the environment after use.
Storage: 5-30 °C; surface during application: 10-30 °C.
