Water- and Oil-Repellent Protection

FILA MP90 is a breathable water- and oil-repellent protector that prevents oily substances such as oil, soap and shampoo, as well as water, from being absorbed into the surface while preserving its original appearance. It is the best stain protector for porcelain tiles, marble and granite, making it harder for water- and oil-based stains arising from everyday use to be absorbed.

It penetrates the material, does not alter the natural colour of surfaces and does not form a film; it protects against water and makes cleaning easier. It is ideal for protecting kitchen and bathroom countertops, provides protection against graffiti on vertical natural stone surfaces and is also used to protect crackle-effect glazed tiles. Used on polished porcelain tiles, marble, granite, natural stone and agglomerates, MP90 leaves treated surfaces suitable for contact with food. The product is classified A+ under the French VOC regulation.

4-Step Application

Application

Apply

Apply the product undiluted to the clean, dry surface with a brush in a continuous, even layer, also wetting the joints.
Rub and Dry

Before the product dries completely (approximately 10-15 minutes), rub the surface with a microfibre cloth moistened with the product, remove the residue and dry with a clean cloth. A single-disc floor machine can be used to speed up the process.
Second Coat

On highly absorbent materials, apply two coats, waiting 8 hours between coats.
Drying and Maintenance

The surface can be walked on after 12 hours; water- and oil-repellent protection becomes effective after 24 hours. For daily maintenance, use CLEANER PRO diluted 1:200.

Safe Use

Points to Consider

To use the product safely and at maximum efficiency, please read the following points carefully before application.

Ventilate the room thoroughly during application and while the product is drying.
Due to the variety of materials, carry out a test on a small area before application to check for possible colour changes.
Do not apply outdoors if rain is expected.
It does not provide protection against the corrosive action of acids.
A single-disc floor machine may only be used if it is in perfect working order.
Keep out of the reach of children; do not release into the environment after use.
Storage: 0-30 °C; surface during application: 5-30 °C.
