Water-Repellent Protection

FILA HYDROREP is a protector that, thanks to the SOLVENT-BORNE TECHNOLOGY developed in the FILA research laboratories, gives the material strong water repellency and makes it resistant to a wide range of weather conditions and UV rays. It protects outdoor floors against water and damp, makes walls and coverings water-repellent, protects joints and provides protection against deterioration caused by weathering.

Penetrating deep into the material, it creates breathable, long-lasting and renewable protection; it does not alter the natural appearance of the material and does not yellow over time. It prevents the formation of moss and mould and protects against efflorescence. It is ideal for unpolished marble and granite, unpolished stone and agglomerates, artificial stone and especially concrete surfaces. Covering large areas with little product, HYDROREP is classified A+ under the French VOC regulation.

3-Step Application

Application

First Coat

Apply the product undiluted evenly to the clean, dry surface with a brush or another suitable method.
Second Coat

Wait 8 hours and apply the second coat. On low-absorbency stones (e.g. slate), one coat is sufficient. To complete with oil-repellent protection, apply FOB XTREME instead of the second coat of HYDROREP.
Drying

The surface can be walked on after 8 hours; the water-repellent effect starts after 24 hours.

Safe Use

Points to Consider

To use the product safely and at maximum efficiency, please read the following points carefully before application.

Due to the variety of materials, carry out a test on a small area before application to check for possible colour changes.
Do not apply outdoors if rain is expected.
It does not provide protection against the corrosive action of acids.
Before application, outdoor floors must have been properly installed and must meet all relevant requirements, including adequate slope, correctly made expansion joints, complete insulation from the underlying substrate and verified suitability for sub-zero temperatures.
A single-disc floor machine may only be used if it is in perfect working order.
Application with airless systems or other spraying equipment is for professional use only; use the appropriate personal protective equipment specified in the Safety Data Sheet.
Keep out of the reach of children; do not release into the environment after use.
Storage: 0-30 °C; surface during application: 5-30 °C.
