Wet-Look Colour-Enhancing Protector

FILA WET ECO is a plant-based product that gives unpolished natural stone, unpolished agglomerate stone and terracotta surfaces a wet look and protects them against stains and dirt. Its water-based formula, developed using raw materials of organic origin and renewable resources, allows an environmentally friendly application. It prevents stains from being absorbed, makes dirt easier to remove and prevents flaking of the surface.

It offers high resistance to heavy traffic and weathering; it does not peel and does not yellow. It is particularly suitable for outdoor use and is also effective indoors; it can be used in outdoor areas open to vehicle traffic and near barbecues and kitchens. It does not alter the frost resistance of terracotta (UNI EN ISO 10545-12) and makes subsequent maintenance easier. WET ECO is classified A+ under the French VOC regulation and certified under EMICODE EC1 Plus and LEED (ACP).

3-Step Application

Application

Preparation

Shake before use. The product is ready to use; no dilution is required. On low-absorbency surfaces, add 1 litre of water to 1 litre of product.
Apply the First Coat

Apply WET ECO evenly and continuously to the clean, dry surface with a flat paintbrush or a plush application pad, also wetting the grout.
Second Coat and Drying

After 2-3 hours, apply the second coat using the same method. Wait at least 12 hours before walking on the surface. Clean the equipment with water after use; for routine maintenance, use CLEANER PRO diluted 1:200.

Safe Use

Points to Consider

To use the product safely and at maximum efficiency, please read the following points carefully before application.

On low-absorbency surfaces (slate, Botticino or Carrara marble), dilute the product with water: 1 litre of water to 1 litre of product.
Do not use on polished surfaces. Do not apply outdoors if rain is expected.
It cannot be applied to substrates exposed to rising damp or in damp environments where water collects (showers, saunas, Turkish baths, etc.).
In the event of incorrect application or when thorough cleaning is required, remove WET ECO with NOPAINT STAR.
As materials can have very different characteristics, carry out a test on a small area before application to check the colour-enhancing effect.
Before application, outdoor floor coverings must have been correctly installed and must meet all specific requirements: adequate slope, correctly made expansion joints, complete insulation from the underlying substrate and proven resistance to sub-zero temperatures.
Keep out of the reach of children; do not discharge the product into the environment after use.
Storage: 5-30 °C; surface during application: 10-30 °C (surface temperature).
